I first fell in love with photography watching my grandmother work. After starting a small company out of my dormroom at Baylor University decided to take the leap from TX to CA to pursue a Bachelors in Photography in beautiful Santa Barbara, CA. The most important thing to know is that I never intended to shoot Weddings. I fully expected to stick to the magazine and editorial work. All that changed when my friend asked me who I'd want to shoot my wedding, and I knew it would have to be someone with an editorial eye. So in the spirit of "being the change you want to see" I shot my first few weddings that year, the way I knew I'd want mine shot. It's been one of the most rewarding and fun decisions of my life.

I often imagine telling my future kids one day the story of how I met and fell in love with their mom. I imagine showing them all of the photos that tell the story of us.

I photograph weddings keeping that in mind. I want to capture who you are uniquely as a couple so that you can tell your story to the ones you love most. Your wedding photography showcases the love you share together, the friends and family that have helped you get to where you are, and the beginning of your journey in marriage.
